How is eyebrow transplantation done?

Eyebrow transplantation is a procedure that takes 1.5–3 hours to complete, depending on the required number of grafts. Using the Micro FUE method, single grafts that provide hair with similar thickness, color and structure to the eyebrow get extracted.

The shape of the eyebrow is redefined and discussed with the patient. With a thinner needle than the graft itself, the channels are opened according to the direction of the eyebrows and with 10–20-degree angles. Then, single hair grafts are placed into the channels using micro implantation forceps. This way, eyebrow transplantation is completed, and the patient is discharged after the operation. The next day, the patient can return to their daily work and social life.

Very small crusts occur in the implantation area for up to 1 week. After 10 days of washing, there will be no more crusting.

For 20 days, sauna, solarium, hammam, sunbathing, swimming and sports should be avoided. The transplanted eyebrows will experience shock loss after 20–25 days and will start to come out again after 3 months. After 7–8 months, the growth of the eyebrows is completed, and they get the final shape. If more density is desired, a second session can be planned.
